Parking garage at the hospital

A new multifunctional parking garage on parcels nos. 2470/2, 2470/3, 2471/1, 2471/3, 2472/1, 2472/2, 2473, 2474/1, 2507, 2510/1, 2620/31,  2620/53, 3595, 3596 and 3597/1  in the Moravská Ostrava cadastral area at Ostrava City Hospital. The vacant lot is bounded by Odboje, Nemocniční, Hornopolní and Na Fifejdách Streets.

Project description

    • built area: 3,243 m²
    • enclosed volume: 75,596 m3
    • number of levels: 3 underground and 4 above-ground levels
      • underground/above-ground levels:
        • parking for hospital employees
        • parking for other users (incl. demand from employees at the Tieto Towers office complex)
      • ground level: civic amenities
        • hospital pharmacy
        • small rental premises
        • technical areas and public WC
      • level 4: uncovered parking on the roof of the building
    • number of parking spaces: 465 of which:
      • 254 in the underground levels, 211 in the above-ground levels
      • 23 spaces for reduced-mobility users
      • 6 spaces for electric vehicle charging
    • 54 cycle parking spaces
    • the land is now used as an open parking area (current capacity around 110 spaces)
    • after completion of the parking garage project, no parking within the hospital grounds will be possible
    • the city also solves the delimitation of the residential zone around the hospital / = regulated parking zone/
